Job Opening for a Retail Buyer at a Japanese Department Store!

【Position Title】
Retail Buyer
※ Expected to work as a buyer in the food department.

【Responsibilities】
- Supplier selection, negotiation, procurement arrangements (both Japanese and non-Japanese)
- Event planning and management
- Sales analysis, management, inventory control
- Sales promotion strategies, brand awareness enhancement strategies
- Basic interpretation tasks
- Other ad hoc duties

【Requirements】
- Experience in related fields welcome (buying experience, working experience in supermarkets, event planning and management)
- Interest in Japanese food and culture
- Ability to work outside office hours (with compensatory leave provided)
- Business-level proficiency in English and Japanese (required for internal and external communications)
