Our client, a premium bottled water brand, is seeking a Supply Chain & Operations Manager for Southeast Asia as part of its regional expansion. This role is responsible for precisely balancing demand and supply to support the region’s growth ambitions while maintaining our commitment to premium quality and service. It is a key middle‑management position that requires strategic thinking, strong analytical capability, and the ability to drive alignment across a fast‑paced, multi‑cultural environment

 

Key Responsibilities 

1. Demand Planning & Forecasting

  • Build and manage an 18‑month rolling demand forecast for APAC using data models, market insights, and commercial inputs.

  • Align stakeholders through regular consensus meetings to finalize a unified demand plan.

  • Track forecast accuracy and bias, driving initiatives to strengthen overall forecasting performance.

2. S&OP Leadership

  • Lead the full regional S&OP cycle, integrating demand, supply, inventory, and financial plans.

  • Facilitate monthly S&OP reviews with leadership, outlining performance, risks, and required decisions.

  • Ensure all S&OP outcomes are communicated clearly and executed across the Singapore hub and regional markets.

3. Supply & Inventory Coordination

  • Partner with Supply Planning, Logistics, and production teams to convert demand plans into feasible supply strategies.

  • Support scenario planning for launches, promotions, and supply‑chain risk management.

4. Continuous Improvement & Analytics

  • Build and manage KPI dashboards (FA, bias, service levels, inventory health) to drive data‑led decisions.

  • Lead planning process enhancements and champion digital tools to improve efficiency and agility.

5. Stakeholder & Regional Engagement

  • Serve as APAC’s main link to global supply chain and S&OP initiatives.

  • Evaluate and appoint cost‑effective logistics partners for the region.

  • Foster strong cross‑functional relationships with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain teams.

 

Qualifications & Experience 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field; APICS/PMP certifications preferred.

  • 8–10 years’ experience in demand planning or S&OP, including regional/multi-country exposure.

  • Proven background in FMCG, beverages, or premium imported goods with strong S&OP leadership in matrix environments.

  • Skilled in advanced planning tools (SAP IBP/APO, OMP) and proficient in analytics platforms (Excel, Power BI).

  • Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders, manage complexity, and deliver high-quality planning outcomes.

  • Deep expertise in forecasting, S&OP best practices, and integrated business planning, with strong commercial/financial acumen.

  • Advanced analytical skills and the ability to turn complex data into actionable insights.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities across multicultural environments.

  • Agile, results-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-growing setting.

  • Innovative problem‑solver with a continuous improvement approach; fluency in English required, with additional APAC languages an advantage.
