About the Regional Sales Manager Role:
This role is an expanded role for a specific commercial region in South East Asia as the regional sales manager to cover Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia, plus manage and build the used equipment business program for Asia.
The role will establish, maintain and grow the customer base for the region for both new and used equipment. It will help create and implements the regional plan to hit key targeted metrics for revenue, market share, price improvement, and budget, while continuing to expand the customer base. Identifying the best companies and channels to rent and sell products.
Responsibilities

Responsibilities
- Pursue customer leads;
- Work and strategize with Distributors to extend market coverage and expand customer base.
- To take over interim functions and projects to ensure the overall development of the Asia Pacific business.
- Identify, research, and contact prospective customers and build positive relationships that will generate future sales and repeat business.
- To assure a proper sales and P/L planning for all defined product segments, adequate market pricing
- Develop long-term selling plans for major customers and accounts and monitor and adapt sales activities so that these objectives are met.
- Establish annual, quarterly, monthly, or weekly sales plans and prioritise and schedule own activities so these targets are met.
To succeed in this role, you will need to have strong Sales experience within the Construction Equipment industry.
Requirements
- Degree in Sales & Marketing, Engineering or equivalent
- At least 5-8 years of Sales experience in the Construction Equipment field
- Able to commit to intensive traveling when necessary
