This company has been delivering IT solutions to Banking and Financial institute in Singapore and other countries in APAC region. They are looking for a qualified Project Manager to help them accelerate the expansion of their business.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build and develop the project team to ensure maximum performance, by providing purpose, directions, and motivation.
- Lead projects from requirements gathering through deployment, identifying scheduling, scopes, budget estimations and implementation plans, including risk mitigation.
- Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure that projects adhere to scope, schedule, and budget.
- Analyse project status and, when necessary, revise the scope, schedule, or budget to ensure that project requirements can be met.
- Establish and maintain relationships with relevant client stakeholders, providing day-to-day contact on project status and changes.
- Engage in proposals/pre-sales activities in collaboration with the sales team to pursue for new opportunities.
- Conduct pre-sales activities in complexed and bespoke projects. Requires consultant-like move to gather client requirements appropriately and propose matching solution for the client.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
The ideal candidate will have production experience and strong skills in developing and overseeing work plans.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a relevant field.
- PMP or PRINCE2 certified.
- 8+ years of experience in IT projects in banking or any related field.
- 3+ years of experience as a Project Manager with IT projects in banking or any related field.
- Experienced in bespoke projects where you need to start from working closely with customer and clarify/understand the user requirement (Not only simple projects like DC migration and server upgrade).
- Background of working as a System Infrastructure Engineer.
- Broad knowledge and skills around system infrastructure such as Windows OS, Linux, Oracle Database, VMware, Hardware (Servers, Storage), and Network.
- Good knowledge of system monitoring and operation.
- Good project management skill and documentation capabilities of project management documents for project planning, issue management/tracking, task progress management (to-do/status/timeline),and minutes of meetings)
- Good communication skill to collaborate with customers, colleagues and vendors.
- Being experience and able to conduct the hands-on tasks during the management of IT infrastructure such as Windows OS, Oracle Database and VMware.
