PROCUREMENT MANAGER
A leading international food chain brand is seeking for a high calibre Procurement Manager to join their team here in Singapore. With multiple brands under their umbrella, they have made a name in the food industries with strong presence of more than 600 outlets globally.
About the Role:
Your main responsibility as the Procurement Manager is to ensure stable and yet cost effective supply chain of food ingredients to the business while leading a team to ensure continued business sustainability and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing and sourcing for food and non-food ingredients for all surrounding region
- Exploring designated protein (beef/pork/chicken) to all franchisees and shops to ensure consistent quality of the protein for all outlets
- Responsible for kitchen equipment Cost of Ownership
- Planning for food contingency plans and ensures compliances for food safety standard to protect the Brand
- Key person in building relationship with suppliers and business partners including negotiation and contracts management
- Supports internal and external stakeholders across the regions in achieving business goals
- Main liaison with internal departments such as QC, R&D, Marketing, Operations for business related matters
To succeed in this role, you must have extensive experience in the food industry with strong knowledge in protein (beef/pork/chicken) procurement.
Key Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of experience in food chain restaurant business or food trading industry
- Proficient in Japanese will be an added advantage as you will be liaising with suppliers in Japan frequently
- Willing to travel within APAC
- Organized, high collaborative, detailed oriented and self motivated
