Our client is a well-known MNC in the Trading industry and they are looking for a Legal Counsel to support the team in various legal matters.
Role:
Advising on various legal matters surrounding business to stakeholders
Helping to draft, review, and negotiate day-to-day trading contracts, legal documents and templates to ensure compliance with local laws, policies, and requirements in Singapore
Monitor and advise on legal and regulatory developments that impact the company’s operations in Singapore and regionally
Advising on the legal implications of company policies and procedures
Identifying and mitigating risks
Conduct legal research and give legal advice which includes matters with regards to investment and M&A
Prepare, lead, and host training sessions to guide employees on compliance and policies matters
Requirements:
An LLB and Bar Admission in Singapore is required
5-8 years PQE with exposure to international legal matters either at a reputable law firm or in an MNC
Experience drafting trading contracts
Experience in M&A advisory
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate fluently in English
