Our client is one of most prominent banks in Japan.
We're looking for a Junior Accountant to join our team. This role is perfect for someone with a strong accounting background, excellent Excel skills, and a keen eye for detail. You'll be a key part of our finance operations, with a focus on regulatory compliance.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Support day-to-day accounting, including financial statement preparation and balance sheet reconciliations.
Assist with MAS regulatory reporting, particularly MAS 610 and MAS 649.
Use your advanced Excel skills for data analysis and financial modeling.
Help with month-end and year-end closing processes.
Experience or interest in credit analysis and AML is a plus.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
1-2 years of relevant accounting experience.
High proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential.
Experience with MAS regulatory reporting is required.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
