Our client, one of the biggest FMCG company is currently looking to have a Japanese Speaking Brand Manager for the Japan market. This individual is expected to deliver brand marketing strategies and plans for Japan Market.
Japanese Speaking Brand Manager (Japan Market)
· Identify Japanese local consumers’ needs for FMCG products
· Work with R&D team to design package and formula catered for JP market.
· Deliver brand growth, increase market penetration rate, particularly in Japan
· Develop marketing strategies and brand equity for Japan Market
· Lead consumer research to develop brand concepts.
· Liaise with Japanese stakeholders and suppliers to drive business initiatives
· Lead creative agencies to develop communication ideas customized for the Japanese cultural nuances.
· Develop initiatives (copy, prints, digital banners, social & eCommerce contents, sampling trial, in-store activation), and guide Japan team to deploy initiatives in local market.
· Produce promotion/pricing strategy with distributor and local trade team
· Determine the best supply chain solution to manage product cost.
· Business Proficiency Japanese to communicate with stakeholders.
· Possess strong market knowledge of Japan market as role requires understanding of JP consumer market
· Bachelor’s Degree with business focus (advantage to have)
· Able drive brand innovation and growth, and have strategic and analytical thinking
