Our client is a leading manufacturing company specialising in high quality casual footwear and apparels, they are looking for Head of Operation/General Manager to overlook the whole retail operation in China.

 

Responsibilities: 

 

As the Head of Operation, the person is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the store, including retail pricing strategies, seeking new business opportunities and collaborations, managing stock levels, procurement etc.

  1. Retail pricing strategies: Developing and implementing pricing strategies that enhance profitability, monitoring on pricing performance and competitiveness, assisting in creating promotional campaigns, cost benefits analysis, developing pricing proposals for new products, tracing market trends 
  2. Seek new business opportunities: Seek out new business collaborations that can help grow the business by building relationships with potential partners, attending networking events and staying up to date with industry trends and developments.
  3. Retail sales development: Set sales target and ensure all POS reach the target, Compile and analyse sales results, retail KPIs and competitor’s activities on a regular basis. Work closely with Merchandising team to ensure appropriate stock level and timely replenishment to optimize all SKUs 
  4. Store operation: Implement SOP for stores/department stores and enforce strict SOP adherence, participate in sales team recruitment and selection, regular interdepartmental liaising with human resources, marketing, logistics, information technology, customer service and finance departments to ensure business efficiencies. 
  • Requirements: 
  1. Degree in any field 
  2. Minimum 10 years of hands on retail operation experience in footwear & apparel 
  3. Strong analytical and leadership skills with good business acumen
  4. Ability to work under time pressure, motivated and willing to go the extra mile
  5. Strong sales focus and proven results in sales KPI, roster and wage control, inventory management and loss prevention
  6. Able to lead and coach a team, adaptable to changes
