We are a representing our client, a leading Japanese MNCto hire a General Manager (Licensing) to join the team based in Singapore to grow our footprint Southeast Asia.

[Job Description]
  • Reports to the Corporate Executive for Licensing Business within Southeast Asia region.
Delivering Revenue Targets for Southeast Asia region
  • Delivering  revenue target for all avenues of the business while maintaining a consistent brand proposition
  • Budget management, from planning to delivering of budget and P&L management of licensing business.
  • Prepare strategy decks and implement the strategies to achieve budget and grow our licensing business.
  • Aligning the licensing strategies with respective licensors.
  • Setting the direction and priorities for various work divisions.
  • Organize and monitor the effectiveness, performance and time management of division function to ensure that plans are smoothly and properly executed.
  • Train, develop, monitor and manage the performance of team members.
  • Review and validate the deal proposals.
  • Management of licensors and key strategic partners.
  • Perform business development activities; from researching, identify and pitch our business to partners in our region to negotiation and execution of licensing deals.
  • Organizing regular business review meetings with licensees on an agreed schedule to monitor and drive business
  • Engage in deal progressing and after sales service, including account management and building rapport with existing and new licensees. 
  • Responsible for forecasting and royalty reports of licensees.
  • Review sales reports and other performance data to measure productivity and goals achievement.
  • Licensed content conceptualization to execution
  • Support the team via an active role in event execution
  • Relationship management with licensees and retailers. 
  • Maintain current knowledge of industry trends, competitors, business opportunities and threats.
  • Work closely with Creative team to approve the production plan and monitor the creative process to ensure products are launch timely and good quality merchandise are developed.
  • Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards..

[Requirement]
  • Degree in Business Management or Business-related qualification
  • Minimum 8 to 10 years of working experience in sales and account management, experience in licensing industry will be an added advantage
