FUEL TRADER
A leading multinational oil and gas/ energy firm is seeking for a highly motivated and strategic individual to join them as a Fuel Trader. This is a new headcount as they are expanding their team here in Singapore.
About the Role:
Your main responsibility as the Fuel Trader is to take ownership of our purchasing and selling portfolio, collaborating seamlessly with cross-functional teams to ensure operational excellence and sustained profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
Market observation and makes decision on buy and sell on a daily basis
- Research, analyze, and communicate all factors that contribute to the current and expected future value of gas and oil , and their interaction with global energy markets
- Generate and deliver reports from data analysis
- Offer suggestions and direction from analysis to help guide organization decision-makers
Make investment decisions and place orders; administrative tasks will be handled separately
Actively participate in networking sessions to build relationships and gather information on the trade
To succeed in this role, you must have extensive experience in the trading industry with strong knowledge about Future Trading.
Key Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Finance & Accounting or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of experience in commodities, metal, financial, oil and gas industry
- Strong knowledge on Future Trading/ Trades
- Proficient in Japanese will be an added advantage
- Organized, high collaborative, detailed oriented and self motivated
