Postion: Senior Medical Scientific Liaison

 

Key responsibilities:

·         Effectively communicate and educate KOLs on appropriate technical, therapeutic, disease state and product information and successfully respond to queries from healthcare providers regarding the use of products in the oncology portfolio

·         Through high level of communication skills and territory-based activities, develop peer to peer scientific relationships with KOLs, health care professionals and decision makers

·         Contribute to developing and executing medical strategy across Singapore 

·         Identify and engage KOLs and healthcare professionals across Singapore and other areas as required

·         Continuously develop and maintain a high level of technical, disease state, product and therapeutic area knowledge through self-learning and active participation in training programs

·         Identify, develop and coordinate physician advocates for oncology products

·         Arrange and coordinate effective education workshops, seminars and programs

·         Communicate scientific information in a variety of settings, including but not limited to internal meetings, advisory boards, individual discussions, hospital department meetings in addition to one on one appointments

·         Communicate regularly with team members overseas in order to optimise resources and exceed customer expectations

·         Territory management including reporting, activity planning and expense-budget management

 

 

Qualifications and Experience Requirements:

·         Tertiary qualifications preferably in pharmacy or a science-related discipline. PhD in a relevant scientific field is highly desirable

·         At least 5 years of hospital/specialist pharmaceutical liaison experience, the majority of years in oncology

·         Working knowledge of the healthcare system and the ICH guidelines, and other ethical guidelines relevant to the pharmaceutical industry

·         Proven ability to establish credible peer to peer relationships with stakeholders

·         Ability to comprehend and effectively communicate high levels of technical, therapeutic, disease state and product information

·         Experience in delivering complex messages to various internal and external customers with a track record of effective presentations

·         Ability to travel extensively and overnight for territory coverage and attendance at meetings. Requirement to travel to Australia approximately 4 times per year
