Overview
Our client, a Singapore‑based financial services firm, is currently seeking a Japanese speaking Relationship Manager to cover Japanese high‑net‑worth individuals (HNWIs).
The company provides asset management solutions that combine traditional securities business with digital assets. With a strong focus on Japanese HNW clients, the firm is expanding its platform, offering specialized cryptocurrency derivatives alongside traditional investment products such as equities, ETFs, fixed income, and derivatives.
Responsibilities
Build and maintain long‑term relationships with Japanese institutional investors and high‑net‑worth clients
Identify and develop new business opportunities across capital markets and digital asset products
Provide investment strategies, market insights, and product solutions based on market analysis
Execute transactions in close collaboration with internal teams, including Trading, Operations, and Compliance
Support client onboarding processes, including KYC/CDD requirements
Monitor client portfolios and deliver ongoing advisory services
Participate in networking events and business development activities
Requirements
At least 3–5+ years of experience in client‑facing or sales‑related roles within the financial services industry
Experience with Japanese security sales representative licence or CMFAS RES Module 12B, CM‑EIP, and CM‑SIP is highly preferred
Strong communication skills and the ability to identify and address client needs while building long‑term relationships
Solid foundational knowledge of financial products, including equities, FX, fixed income, and derivatives
Strong results‑driven mindset with a proactive and commercial approach
Professional working proficiency in Japanese in order to liaise with Japanese speaking stakeholders
Business‑level English proficiency is highly desirable
Knowledge of or interest in digital assets is a plus
