The Regional Assistant Artwork Manager is responsible for the Artwork management and End-2-End process in Asia region, delivery of his/her own projects and continuous process improvements. Artwork process is one key part of overall Supply Chain Management.
On Artwork Management, this position to lead standard process using GLAMS (online tool), from new project kick-off, through delivery to printers on approved artworks; he/she will work with key stakeholders (internal and external, from diff locations) such as Artwork studio, Marketing, Regulatory Affairs, Medical Affairs, Quality Assurance, Japan and Singapore regional Supply Chain, Contract Manufacturing Organization; to ensure all packaging materials are On-time, On-Quality, and compliant in to Regulatory requirement and internal Brands guidelines.
He/she is also responsible to provide timely update on Artwork Tracker, including anticipating and calling out risk (and proposed solutions) to project timeline, quality, cost. He/she is also responsible for training newcomers on work process and online tools, and back-up for team members. On process improvement, this position will work closely with Asia Artwork team to identify, propose, implement, and track improvements/simplifications on work process, tools, and templates.

▪ Coordinate the development of regional artwork template with Marketing, Regulatory Affairs, Design/Artwork studio and printers, across the region
▪ Coordinate on artwork status to supply chain team and printers, for downstream packaging materials ordering and delivery to manufacturing plants
▪ Coordinate the creation of MU (Mock-Up) artwork for Regulatory submission to Health Authority, and Commercial artworks for productions
▪ Coordinate artwork review & approval in GLAMS (online tool), to ensure design and regulations requirements for each new product, new pack or changes to existing packaging are complied.
▪ Track artwork versions, in addition to managing and maintaining the Pack Change Tracking log
▪ Preparation and circulation of Commercial artwork and documentation for internal review and approval, as needed
▪ Maintain all artwork centrally in GLAMS and latest versions are readily available, by ensuring projects are setup, initiated, and completed on time.
▪ Liaise with relevant internal and external suppliers/functions to ensure adherence of artwork process and tools
▪ Provide Quality support of the artwork and labelling change process to ensure clear requirements are defined/documented and executed to enable the release of the artworks to printers
▪ Provide training to internal users or stakeholders on the artwork process and tools
▪ To co-lead development of regional artwork process policies, and maintain up-to-date SOPs
▪ Project Management Lead for all artwork variations (changes) in Asia
▪ Maintain artwork specific KPI, and continuous improvements
▪ Support process improvement activities for supply launch & variation management, monitor performance and provide regular reports/recommendations to the management
▪ Support implementation of NPP (Name Patient Programs) on regional and local level
▪ Perform other duties as assigned

▪ Minimum of 7 years Packaging Artwork Management and or SCM experience
▪ Fluent in Japanese to liaise with Japan
▪ Experience in Project Management
▪ Strong understanding of regulatory / quality requirements for Artwork Management
▪ Experience of working in accordance with quality standards e.g. GMP, GDP
▪ Attention to details (strong proofreading, and follow through from scope to execution excellence) is key to success of the role
▪ Competent in the use of Artwork Management System; Adobe Illustrator is plus
▪ Knowledge of packaging, graphics and printed components is preferred
▪ Good Microsoft skills especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Project as well as MS Visio
▪ Understand ethics, compliance, and business conduct issues pertaining to the industry
