The International Express Sales Assistant Manager role supports the growth of a rapidly expanding cross-border parcel delivery business within a leading international logistics company. Reporting directly to the business leader, the position develops logistics solutions, manages project implementation, coordinates with overseas offices, and drives business growth through strategic customer engagement. The role offers an opportunity to help shape and expand the business while collaborating with teams in Japan and other regional markets.
Responsibilities
Propose international express and cross-border logistics solutions to e-commerce companies and prospective customers
Analyse customers’ logistics challenges and develop optimised transportation and fulfilment solutions
Support project implementation and operational setup for newly acquired business accounts
Work closely with operational teams to identify and resolve logistics and service-related issues
Coordinate and negotiate directly with teams in Japan and other overseas group offices
Drive continuous improvements in transportation quality and logistics processes
Monitor project profitability and manage profit and loss performance for assigned accounts
Promote digital logistics solutions through Application Programming Interface (API) integration and Artificial Intelligence (AI)-enabled tools
Conduct market analysis and identify new business opportunities
Participate in business expansion initiatives, sales strategy development, and process-improvement projects
Requirements
Japanese language proficiency at JLPT N2 level or equivalent (for internal communication)
Strong computer literacy, including Excel, data analysis, and Power Query
Interest in using AI tools and digital solutions to improve business processes
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Self-motivated, proactive, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment

Monthly salary of SGD 4,000–6,000, depending on experience and qualifications
