I/O Psychologist

Scope of work

You will support the Head of Industry Solutions & Engagement in ensuring that the certification products meet the organisation’s desired business outcomes and are consistent with quality standards for certification bodies. Your scope of work will primarily consist of:

Question Bank Enhancement

• Planning and leading in various projects by effectively engaging and managing stakeholders and providing technical expertise to ensure project delivery success

• Proposing methodology for conducting question validity reviews and providing guidelines on how the question items should be mapped on IHRP div of Competencies

• Developing criteria for review and approval of the assessment question items to facilitate a focused and efficient review process

• Conducting item analyses to establish reliability and validity of the question bank

• Developing and establishing score methodology for IHRP competency assessments

• Conducting Product enhancement & development for IHRP certification (e.g., new products, learning content, assessment policies and assessment systems)

• Designing and conducting research studies to gather thoughtful perspectives & insights on HR-related topics

• Designing and executing pilot studies on new certification products and presenting the findings for stakeholders

 

Requirements

Education and experience:

• Bachelor in I/O Psychology or related fields

• 2 – 5 years of relevant experience in assessment development

• Familiarity with design and development of assessment questions, tools, and tests

• Comfortable with data analytic and visualisation software

• Self-directed and able to manage a project

• Knowledge of Psychometric measurement and/or Statistics as well as experience in using statistical software (e.g., SPSS) will be required

• Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential to partner with a community of external stakeholders

• Attention to detail and ability to multi-task across concurrent projects

• Strong problem solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgement and make decisions considering existing conditions and constraints
