OVERVIEW
This position is responsible for a wide range of management, financial, and operational activities within a ship operating company. The role supports vessel operations, budget control, and contract management, while closely coordinating with group companies, particularly those based in Japan.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage the day-to-day operations of group companies and owned vessels
Liaise with ship management companies, brokers, charterers, vendors, and relevant authorities (including MPA)
Communicate and coordinate with group companies and stakeholders in Japan in Japanese
Support vessel chartering, sale and purchase of ships, and financing/borrowing activities
Assist in contract negotiations and contract management
Prepare and manage vessel budgets, monitor actual performance, and analyze variances
Perform cost control and financial analysis
Prepare monthly and quarterly management, financial, and cash flow reports
Manage disbursements and monitor cash flow of vessel accounts
Liaise with banks and external auditors
Coordinate with technical management companies on vessel performance and maintenance
Establish and improve internal management procedures and handle general administrative matters
Conduct research and analysis for new projects
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum 3 years of working experience in the maritime/shipping industry
Experience and knowledge in budget control and cost management
Proven ability to build and maintain good relationships with customers and vendors

Salary: SGD 5,000 – 7,000
