The Cybersecurity Project Manager role offers the opportunity to lead cybersecurity projects and transformation initiatives within a technology services environment. This agency contract role is ideal for a project management professional with experience delivering security, compliance, and infrastructure related initiatives across regulated environments.
Responsibilities
Lead end to end delivery of cybersecurity projects and transformation initiatives
Manage project plans, timelines, budgets, risks, dependencies, and reporting
Coordinate with Security, IT, Risk, Compliance, vendors, and business stakeholders
Perform regulatory and security fit gap assessments and track remediation activities
Drive initiatives related to privileged access management, security controls, and compliance improvements
Support network segmentation and security architecture enhancement programmes
Facilitate governance forums, project reviews, and stakeholder updates
Monitor project milestones, vendor performance, and resource utilisation to ensure successful delivery
Requirements
Degree in IT, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field
At least 7 years of experience in Project or Programme Management for technology or cybersecurity initiatives
Hands on experience delivering projects within banking, financial services, or regulated environments
Strong stakeholder management, communication, governance, risk, and budget management skills
Experience conducting regulatory, compliance, and security gap assessments
Good understanding of IAM, PAM, SOC, Cloud Security, Vulnerability Management, and Network Security
Exposure to cybersecurity platforms such as CyberArk, SailPoint, and Splunk
