OVERVIEW

Our client is a privately held investment and business development platform based in Singapore. The organization takes a long-term approach to investing across a diverse range of asset classes while also fostering a high-quality network of investors, entrepreneurs, and business leaders across Asia.

In addition to investment activities, the firm is building an invitation-only community where influential individuals can exchange ideas, build trusted relationships, and explore collaboration opportunities. 

 

Reporting directly to the Principal of a Singapore-based single family office, the Chief of Staff will act as a strategic partner responsible for translating priorities into action and ensuring high-quality execution across a wide range of initiatives.

This is a highly external-facing role that combines strategic project management, relationship development, community building, and executive support. Beyond coordinating key projects, the successful candidate will help expand the Principal's network and influence by cultivating relationships with investors, entrepreneurs, executives, family offices, and other distinguished individuals across global markets.

The role also includes overseeing curated private events, managing stakeholder engagement, supporting content and thought leadership initiatives, and ensuring seamless follow-through before and after important meetings and introductions.

 

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Project Management

  • Convert strategic priorities into actionable plans with clear milestones, timelines, and ownership.

  • Drive execution across multiple initiatives simultaneously, escalating only matters that require the Principal's direct involvement.

  • Manage confidential projects and special assignments while coordinating with relevant internal and external stakeholders.

  • Oversee legal, compliance, tax, and administrative workstreams handled by external advisors, ensuring deliverables are completed on schedule.

Network Development & External Representation

  • Represent the Principal at industry events, investor forums, founder communities, and private gatherings.

  • Identify and cultivate relationships with highly accomplished investors, entrepreneurs, executives, and thought leaders.

  • Facilitate strategic introductions, create engagement opportunities, and provide relevant market and relationship intelligence.

Relationship Management & CRM

  • Build and maintain a comprehensive relationship database covering investors, founders, industry experts, and strategic partners.

  • Monitor relationship activity, manage introductions, and prioritize engagement opportunities.

  • Prepare pre-meeting briefing materials and coordinate post-meeting follow-up to strengthen long-term relationships.

Private Events & Community Building

  • Lead the planning and execution of curated private dinners, salons, and invitation-only events.

  • Manage all aspects of event delivery, including concept development, guest selection, invitations, venue coordination, hosting, and follow-up.

  • Create engaging environments that foster meaningful conversations, intellectual exchange, and lasting connections.

  • Measure success by the quality of relationships built, depth of engagement, and long-term community value.

Brand Development & Content Strategy

  • Support the development and communication of the Principal's investment philosophy, personal perspectives, and long-term vision.

  • Oversee content initiatives across digital channels, including LinkedIn, X, websites, articles, and speaking engagements.

  • Collaborate with external partners to ensure consistent messaging and high-quality execution.

  • Enhance the Principal's reputation and visibility among relevant professional and investment communities.

 

Required Qualifications

  • Business-level fluency in both Japanese and English to liaise with Japanese speaking stakeholders

  • Experience managing relationships with senior executives, investors, entrepreneurs, or HNW/UHNW individuals.

  • Strong understanding of investment markets and financial concepts.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.

  • Excellent communication, writing, and organizational skills.

  • High level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality.

  • Comfortable attending evening networking events, meetings, and private dinners when required.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Chief of Staff, Founder Associate, CEO Office, or Chairman's Office.

  • Investor Relations, Fundraising, or External Relations within investment firms.

  • Private Banking, Family Office, or UHNW Relationship Management.

  • Strategic Communications, Executive Positioning, or Premium PR.

  • Luxury Hospitality, Membership Communities, or Curated Events.
