JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

This role supports day-to-day accounting operations with a strong focus on accounts receivable, reconciliations, and month-end closing. The successful candidate will handle high-volume transactions, prepare accounting entries, and support audit and reporting activities in a fast-paced environment. This position is suitable for candidates with solid hands-on accounting experience who are comfortable with operational and detail-

  • Assist in month-end closing activities, including preparation of journal entries for General Ledger (GL), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Accounts Payable (AP)

  • Manage and follow up on accounts receivable and debt collection to ensure timely payments

  • Perform bank, credit card, and transaction reconciliations

  • Process daily sales collections including cash, giro, cheque, and credit card settlements

  • Prepare and issue invoices, credit notes, refunds, and statements of accounts (SOA)

  • Maintain accurate bank books and perform monthly bank reconciliations

  • Support audit activities by preparing schedules and required documentation

  • Prepare accounting and administrative reports for month-end and management review

  • Support ad-hoc accounting and finance-related duties

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline

  • 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience

  • Hands-on experience in AR, AP, GL, reconciliations, and month-end closing

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems

  • Able to work independently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

  • Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

  • Experience in service or travel-related industries will be an added advantage
