Job Title: Project Engineer
About the company
Our client is an established multinational engineering and manufacturing organization is seeking a Project Engineer to drive new product introduction programs from concept through production.
This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with customers, suppliers, engineering, quality and supply chain teams to successfully launch innovative products while balancing performance, quality, cost and delivery objectives.
Responsibilities
Lead cross-functional projects supporting new product introduction and product industrialization activities
Coordinate with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure project milestones are achieved
Monitor project timelines, costs, quality requirements and supply continuity
Support supplier selection, qualification and relationship management activities
Drive cost optimization initiatives while maintaining product performance and quality standards
Identify and mitigate supply chain and manufacturing risks
Support product lifecycle management, including component changes and obsolescence planning
Contribute to continuous improvement and strategic business initiatives
Requirements
Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering or related discipline
Experience in manufacturing, engineering, project management or product industrialization environments
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
Commercial awareness with interest in cost management and supplier engagement
Comfortable working with customers, suppliers and cross-functional teams
Willingness to travel when required
