OVERVIEW
Our client, a Japanese manufacturer specializing in advanced optical technologies, is looking for an Operations & Administration Executive.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide operational support for import/export and logistics activities, including preparation and management of invoices and shipping documents
Liaise with logistics vendors, customers, group companies, and headquarters in Japan to ensure smooth coordination
Handle back-office administration, such as invoice processing, payment support, expense claims, and office administration
Coordinate with external service providers for accounting, payroll, and other outsourced functions
Support office setup and process stabilization during the start-up phase
Assist with general administration, including support for visiting staff from group companies
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Essential
Minimum 5 years of experience in operations, administration, or back-office functions
Able to work independently in a small start-up environment
Business-level English proficiency to communicate with internal and external stakeholders
Proficient in basic PC skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Advantageous
Basic knowledge or experience in logistics, import/export, or accounting
Experience working with Japanese or multinational companies
Ability in Japanese and/or Chinese is an advantage For internal and external communications
