Business Manager
Job Description
You will be responsible for overseeing overall management operations related to clinic operations and business expansion at a Japanese-affiliated clinic in Singapore.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee overall clinic operations (approximately 20 staff members)
Manage budgeting, sales and marketing strategy planning and execution, and staff development
Lead recruitment activities, including hiring medical interpreters
Features & Culture:
The company currently operates two locations in River Valley and West Coast, with plans for further business expansion including new clinic openings
Main clientele are Japanese families and children residing in Singapore
A fast-paced, venture/startup-like working environment
Requirements
Required Experience & Skills:
Experience in B-to-C business or in a managerial (leadership) role
Financial knowledge including P&L and balance sheet management, as well as overall business management capability
Ideal Candidate Profile:
Passionate about contributing to the growth of a Japanese medical clinic
Polite, with strong listening skills and a collaborative mindset
Language Requirements:
Japanese: Native level
English: Business level
Working Conditions
Employment Type: Shift-based system (5-day work week)
Working Hours: Shift-based between 8:30 AM and 10:00 PM (8 working hours per day)
Shift Examples:
① 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
② 1:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Working hours may be adjusted depending on operational needs.
Days Off / Public Holidays: Based on shift schedule (if required to work on a public holiday, a substitute day off will be provided)
Paid Leave: 10 days per year after completion of probation period
