OVERVIEW
Our client, a Japanese manufacturer is looking for an Assistant Manager/ Manager.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Identify and develop new customers in the ASEAN region.
• Introduce the company’s product portfolio to untapped accounts.
• Conduct customer requirement gathering, technical discussions, and price negotiations.
• Support mass-production launch activities for new business opportunities.
• Coordinate product specifications with suppliers and Japan-based engineering teams.
• Manage projects from initial inquiry through mass-production stage.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customer contacts.
• Act as the main point of contact for customer communication.
• Handle delivery coordination and respond to customer-related issues.
• Manage PSI (Production, Sales, Inventory) and sales performance.
• Monitor sales progress and support revenue growth.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Minimum 3 years of working experience in Sales or Sales Engineering.
• Strong teamwork mindset and ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Interest in and motivation to challenge new business development.
• Proactive, positive, and self-driven attitude.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Advantage (Preferred):
• Experience in the semiconductor industry (manufacturer or trading company).
• Ability to communicate in Japanese is an advantage for coordination with Japan HQ and suppliers.

• Salary Range: SGD 5,000 – 7,000 / month (depending on experience)
