Sebastian was from a humble background. He took on varied functions in his career ranging from door-to-door sales, daily-rated telemarketing, surveyor roles, and even IT retail sales. His profession in HR took off when he was given the opportunity to go into Human Resources Development and pick up Organization Development skills from scratch. He facilitated workshops in providing excellent Customer Service, handling Performance Managements and Appraisals, and taught Worklife Harmony for the healthcare and public sectors.
When the recession hit, Sebastian took on the responsibility of managing HR functions for an SME. He delved deeper into recruitment when he started to focus on Outsourcing and Managed Services for the IT industry, and he found it an incredibly rewarding career. Not only was he a key player in finding talents for his clients' projects, but he also created job opportunities during difficult times for his candidates.
To date, Sebastian has had accumulated over 6 years' experience in recruitment, with his expertise built on Outsourcing and Payroll Management across several industries. These include clients from the IT sectors, semiconductor fields, trading, and manufacturing houses, and are roles from sales and business development to more technical ones such as analysts or trade finance officers.
