Ryoko graduated from Temple University in Tokyo, Japan. She undertook her courses in English, and studied alongside international students who came from across 60 different countries. After working in Japan for 4 years, she has moved to work in Singapore and has been with us for the past 7 years since 2013, adapting well to local cultures.
When she started with JAC, Ryoko was a Manager in the Translation & Interpretation division. She supported various clients across government organisations to companies looking to expand their businesses in Singapore. Her networks and language abilities grew with her experiences, as she became a trusted advisor to both the public and private sectors.
In early 2017, Ryoko transferred to become a Recruitment Consultant in the Accounting/Finance and HR team. She specialises in back office support roles including placements of accounting and finance professionals, HR managers, and legal/compliance leads. She demonstrates patience, empathy, and grit with every candidate and client she works with, and was quickly promoted to a Senior Recruitment Consultant in 2019. With her background rooted in client support, Ryoko is also the go-to consultant for support of newly set-up Japanese businesses in the region.
Ryoko believes a good job fit is the result of clear communication between clients and candidates. Because of her honest sincerity, both parties trust her as the consultant of choice in ensuring long-term stay aligned with career and business goals.
