The role is required to assist in managing corporate and business risks including credit, investment, inventory and other operational risks
RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
Risk assessment, which involves analyzing risks as well as identifying, describing and estimating the risks affecting the business
Issue guidelines and consultation on security trade control relating to all transactions of the company. In particular, export/import procedures and L/C acceptance from banks
Work closely with traders to calculate the risk associated with specific trading transactions.
Implement internal controls to manage risks of the company
Attend to queries and proactively communicate with the Head Office on risk management issues
Providing support, education and training to employees to create and build risk awareness mwithin the organization
Support on physical stock take actively
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
3 years relevant working experience in Credit Risk Management will be advantageous. Candidates from fields in Accounting, Banking, Finance and Audit are welcomed to apply.
Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing
Level headed in critical situations; patient and calm under pressure or when challenged
Pro-active, able to work independently and as part of a wider team; team player
Enjoys analytical work and possess strong business acumen.
Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel)
