HR & Administrative Officer in a very well-known Japanese MNC located in Downtown



Position Summary:

Responsible for providing an excellent level of benefit and claims support across the whole of business in the back-office functions covering Singapore, Vietnam, Thailand, India, Indonesia & Australia, and to assist the HR team for local administrative operations. 


Principal Responsibilities:

Key Activities/Elements

1. Claims Management

§  Check & verify all submitted claims by local & overseas employees

§  Notify the employee on the outcome of the submitted claim

§  Liaise with Global Headquarters in Japan regarding insurance and claims


2. HR Administrative tasks


§  Scheduling of recruitment interviews, appraisal and meetings

§  Assisting in IT matters related to HR (setting up PC, telephone etc for newcomer, registering and handling email address and phone contact list databases, security cards)

§  Managing and updating of personal information such as work pass, visa, passport information

§  Checking and filing of attendance sheets and leave forms

§  Other administrative HR matters


3. Other ad Hoc tasks

§  To assist the HR team in other ad hoc tasks as and when required

§  Expatriate employees

§  External vendors

§  GHQ, Business Management Department



Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:                                                                                                              

Education level and/or relevant experience(s)

§  Certificate in HR or O Levels equivalent

Knowledge and skills (general and technical)

l  At least 2 years’ experience in benefits and claims

Other requirements (licenses, certifications, specialized training, physical or mental abilities required)

§  Team player

§  Meticulous

§  Person of discretion

§  Working knowledge of Japanese language preferred
